What: Track and field is designed to take many individuals with multiple talents and develop a team. We want to build upon the success of our fall and winter programs to help our athletes and Capital High to be the premiere AA high school in the state. T&F has something for everyone, running fast, running long distances, jumping, and throwing. Stronger, Faster, Higher, Farther – Improve your skills as an athlete and join now. ALL FOR 1!

UNITY – this is what our team believes we should be.

  • U – Unselfishness – Lose ones individuality in the team roles & goals
  • N – Nurturing friendships – Fun along the way
  • I – Integrity – Inner discipline – follow expectations – be on time
  • T – Trust in teammates
  • Y – Yea-sayer – positive person who does their part to align team members, coaches and managers.

Mutual respect, loyalty and allegiance with and for each other.

Each athlete MUST have a completed physical form and signed concussion form before they can start practice. Bring the completed forms the first day. All required forms can be found on the Athletics Home Page as well as the CHS Main Office. The cost is $90 for the first sport which includes the required activity ticket.
