Make-Up School 2021
American Government, English IV, & Vocational Education
A high school diploma is a gateway to college and career options. Still, high school curriculum can be challenging, and it is not uncommon to have difficulty with a class along the way. If you failed a class, this is your opportunity to make up the lost credit. Graduating on time will allow you to pursue a career or higher education.
REGISTRATION: Registration must be received before registration is complete. Tuition is being waved this spring, but students still need to complete registration on the HSD RevTrak website: https://helenaschools.revtrak.net/ If you need assistance – please contact Charmaine Barker at 324- 2482 or cbarker1@helenaschools.org
Sections:
There will be multiple sections of both English IV and American Government- located at both Helena High and Capital High. There will also be a vocational section for seniors who still need a semester of CTE credit in order to graduate.
Dates/Times:
Classes will be formed in a Mon-Tues and Wed-Thurs blocks (ex. one English section would be from 3:30-5:30 on Mondays and Tuesdays).
Classes will begin on Tuesday, February 16th and sections can be found in both high schools. Each class is two-hours in length. We are going to use a content standards approach to recouping credits. The amount of sessions required will be individualized and agreed upon by student and staff (but not to exceed 10 weeks). We will follow the district calendar for school days.
