Ready to dive into the photography you are most interested in, start a business, get your drone’s license, or take on AP Photo for college credit? In this upper-level class, you will explore your own style with personal projects creating a portfolio concentrating on complex aspects of exposure, subjects & composition. We will work with advanced skills in the camera menus, gear, & photography genres, along with coupling photography with social engineering to prepare students for a rise in visual literacy jobs. You will spend time focusing on making a statement, connecting to your local photography community, and other topics that to help you be the best photographer you can be. You will learn to editorially document travel & adventure activities to gain an understanding for the constant need for content with social media, magazines, travel guides, blogs, newspapers, & global change initiatives all requiring regular updates and a fresh take on destinations, cultures, and countries. Travel & adventure workshops will be available for capturing impactful images. Students will top off their experience by printing, framing, and submitting their photography to contests and art shows.
