7413     Marketing Management

Marketing Management is a course that will expand the entrepreneurial and management requirements of a business owner. Becoming an entrepreneur, learning to work with other students, and making management decisions is taught in this course. Students will accomplish this by working together as a team of managers to operate and manage a Capital High School store, the Bear Necessities. Obtain skills such as financial analysis, human resource management, information management, professional development, strategic/channel management, pricing, selling, product/service management and promotion. Apply all those skills when you compete against high school students from all over Montana in the High School Business Challenge. This class allows for opportunities in DECA which plans and implements Night to Shine and options to compete at state and national levels in marketing and business entrepreneurship. Prerequisite(s): Small Business Management
