7100 Fundamental Woodworking and Design
This course is designed for students to develop introductory skills and knowledge in a wide variety of industrial related processes, systems, and tools. The content of the course is based on drafting, construction, woodworking, cabinetmaking, problem solving, engineering and power tool technology. This is a great “hands-on” class for students to learn a wide variety of useful skills and knowledge while strengthening academic skills as they apply to industrial problems. All freshmen are strongly encouraged to take this class as a foundation before taking other CTE trades classes that are available sophomore year.
Note: A student who fails 1st Semester will have a conference with an administrator, the teacher, and a parent to discuss continued enrollment 2nd Semester.
