  1. common name
  2. scientific name (click here – Latin Names of all MMM organisms)
  3. picture(s) of the organism
  4. Where it lives (location on earth, habitat, etc.)
  5. Trophic level (herbivore, omnivore, carnivore, and/or primary, secondary tertiary consumer).
  6. Adaptations for survival (think protection, defense, mimicry, camouflage, feeding, etc.)
  7. Anything else awesome about your organism!!!

Background Information:

Paragraph #1 of the background will include information about biochar.

  1. What is biochar?
  2. How is biochar made?
  3. What are the benefits of biochar both to plants/agriculture and the ecosystem?
  4. Does biochar have any negative qualities?
  5. What research has been done on the impact of biochar on plant growth in different soil types?  (In other words, is it effective in all soil types? Explain.)

Paragraph #2 of the background should include the following general information about your plant.  Find the answers to at least 15 of these questions.  You must answer questions 1-13.
