EXPECTATION OF THE WEEK: 

Be a Graduate by finishing the school year strong and being a Bruin Ambassador

Is there a senior that you would like to “kiss” goodbye before they graduate? Come to the main foyer during lunch next week May 20-23 to buy a Hershey’s kiss and a special note to be delivered on Tuesday 5/28 during their 2nd period semester test. Cost is 25 cents per kiss or 5 kisses for a dollar.

Anybody taking AP Physics 1 next year needs to stop by Mrs. Humbert’s room for their summer work.

Coach McMahon will be collecting uniforms and track gear on Wednesday, and Thursday after school from any Junior, Sophomore, or Freshman girls tracksters whose season is completed.  You may also turn gear into Coaches Goody, Kelly, Engstrom, or Lane during the school day as well.

Bring in Your Old Graduation Gowns

Please drop off you old graduation gowns at the Capital High Main Office from June 1 – June 6. By renting graduation gowns in the future years, after the original collection, we can help save students money, and reduce plastic production. Help make a difference!

EXPECTATION OF THE WEEK:

Forms are available for the Summer DOT program in the Main Office.  We need to have at least 40 students signed up to keep the program going.  You can contact Lon Carter or Lee Carter for additional information is necessary.

There will be a meeting at lunch on Monday in Mr. Clinch’s room (room 205) for all those interested in participating in the boys soccer program next fall. Summer workout plans and expectations will be discussed.

Prom tickets will be sold in room 2 – $45 for a single ticket and $65 for a couple.

Forms are available for the Summer DOT program in the Main Office.  We need to have at least 40 students signed up to keep the program going.  You can contact Lon Carter or Lee Carter for additional information is necessary.

Attention National Honor Society Members – We have 2 new service opportunities we are in need of volunteers for.  Parking cars for a Mother’s Day sale and assisting with a spring fun run.  All the details are in room 11.  Stop by soon to check these out.

Spanish club is hosting a school wide Ping Pong tournament on Thursday, May 23rd.   I will take place after school from 4:00 till 6:00ish.   There will be 2 brackets of doubles, advanced and beginners.  This will be double elimination! There will be prizes of coupons from around town.   The cost is $5 per team!   Sign up in Senor’s room, 101.

Summer Camp 2019
June 23-28
For Rural & Tribal Teens Age 14-17

Are you interested in improving the health of your community or pursuing a health-related career? If so, join is for a camp where you will explore a wide range of health concepts with like-minded teens in a beautiful setting.
At camp, you will make friends, learn new skills, and discover ways to serve your
community. You will also learn about different concepts of health while enjoying a week in the mountains that includes hiking, white water rafting, and campfires!
Hopa Mountain encourages applications from teens age 14-17 from rural and tribal communities, especially those who will befirst in their family to attend college. The goal of this camp is to provide teens with the opportunity to explore healthcare careers, healthy ways of living, and learn about college life.

This camp is free of charge for all participants.

There will be a girls’ soccer meeting today at lunchtime in the library conference room.  All girls interested in trying out should attend to come and meet Coach Price.
