We are still taking signups for a potential Capital High mock trial team.  If you are interested see Mr. Haab (sounds like cab) in room 414 for more information or to sign up.

There will be a PROM meeting today, Wednesday November 14th at lunch in room 2.

There will be a meeting on Thursday, November 15th, in Mr. Kelly’s room for anyone interested in participating in girl’s track in the Spring.

Boys interested in Winter Track Workouts please meet in the Bruin Hallway next to the Training Room Tuesday, the 13th, at 3:30.  We need to get started for next Spring.

Bear Necessities is serving Sud’s Hut Chicken and JOJOs today!  $5

Key Club is sponsoring a winter clothes drive! Please bring your old coats, hats, gloves, and scarves to room 6 to be entered for a chance to win a $25 amazon gift card. Items that are not clean and in decent condition will not be accepted

Got Lefse? DECA will be taking orders for homemade Lefse next week. DECA students, please see Mrs. Doran or Mrs. Belcourt to pick up your Lefse order forms AND to turn in your deposit for Fairmont.

Student Council is working with Helena High to put on a Crosstown Penny War to encourage students to participate in fundraising in Hurricane relief services. All proceeds will be donated to victims of various hurricanes. Make sure to drop your coins into our Capital High jar at the front office. We will collect change from October 31st through November 7th. Let’s beat the Bengal!

Wrestling will be having a brief lunch meeting on Wednesday November 7th. The meeting will be in Coach Mahana’s room #10.

Capital High School is forming a competition Mock Trial team. If you are interested in the law or enjoy acting a role as a witness we could use you on the team.  Come to the informational meeting and learn what it is all about on Wednesday, November 7th in Mr. Haab’s room.

CHS Student Body : We need all of you in the gym at lunch today Nov. 6th.  Bring your lunch and eat in the gym for our 2018 Special Olympics Unified Basketball Team PEP RALLY. The PEP Band, Cheerleaders and of course Norris Blossom will get your spirit up as we cheer on these athletes and celebrate Helena hosting the tournament November 9 and 10th. See you at the PEP today at lunch in the gym😊  GO BRU!

There will be a mandatory meeting for anyone who will be trying out for boy’s basketball Tuesday, November 6th at lunch in Mr. LaRue’s room.  Room 221.  Be there.

Did you know that today’s students will be expected to be comfortable with global communication and create peace through intercultural respect. We have students taking that challenge on every summer by going to other countries. Take time to look at the display in the library where you will see, through student photography and short essays, just how awesome that can be. For more information on capturing your world through the lens,  on travel abroad, or on photography classes see Mrs. Anderson in room 15.

Congratulations to Mr. Deola’s homeroom for raising the most money for Trick or Treat for Unicef! You will be receiving a doughnut party on Friday 11/9.

BPA meeting at lunch on Thursday. We’ll be selecting events for regionals and planning for our volunteer event, so all members please plan to attend!

Pre-Season swim meeting will be today at lunch in the Counseling Conference Center

Club photos are TODAY!!! Make sure you get your passes from your club leader and be a few minutes early from your scheduled time. There will be no retakes, so make it on time! Club photo schedules are posted around the school. Be there or be square!
