EXPECTATION OF THE WEEK: Be Responsible by cleaning up after yourself and the areas around you

Dr. Ilse-Mari Lee from the MSU Honors College will be hosting an event the evening of Wednesday, November 29 for students and their parents/families to learn more about the wonderful opportunities available through the MSU Honors College. The event will start at 5:30pm at the Helena High School Library—1300 Billings Avenue in Helena.

A representative from the Naval Academy in Maryland will be in the Career Center TUESDAY at 10:30. See Miss Troianos for a pass!

Capital’s Got Talent is right around the corner! Auditions are next Wednesday and Thursday (Nov. 29 and 30) in the Choir Room after school. All talent is welcome: singing, dancing, acting, juggling, comedy, magic, acrobatics, the list goes on! If you have a talent to share, come audition! There is a $5 audition fee. The top three acts win a cash prize! 1st place is $100, 2nd place $50, and 3rd place $25. All three acts will be featured in the holiday assembly on Dec. 22. The Talent Show is at 7:00 in the CHS Auditorium on Dec. 19. Come on out and share your talent!!

EXPECTATION OF THE WEEK: Be a Graduate by participating in some sort of extra-curricular activity

There will be an organizational softball meeting TODAY during lunch in room G2 by the training room. Any girls interested in trying out for softball this Spring are encouraged to attend. Winter workouts will be discussed, and a contact list will be developed

Fiddler on the Roof opened yesterday! Come cheer on your fellow Bruins and enjoy this year’s cross-town musical, Thursday through Saturday, 7 p.m. at CHS. Tickets are $8.

Girls Basketball tryouts for Friday:  Frosh 6:15-8:15 at 4G’s, Soph,jr,sr 3:30-6:00 at CHS

Hey..want some poutine (pronounced poo-teen)!!?  Yes, you do!  This Canadian specialty is sure to please:  French fries, smothered in yummy gravy and topped with melted mozzarella cheese curds.  French Club will be selling it in the library foyer for $3 TODAY at lunch.  Come get some ‘eh?!

EXPECTATION OF THE WEEK: Be Respectful by driving carefully and parking in the correct parking places.

Did you know that the state of Montana has 9 four year college/universities, 10 community and 2 year technical colleges, and 7 Tribal colleges. Even if you’ve already applied, take advantage of application fee being waived or deferred from any of these schools this week by coming to the Career Center. In addition, Helena College will be helping fill out applications tomorrow in the career center from 8:30-10:30.

This week is College Application week. The Career Center will be open all day every day this week for seniors applying to any type of post secondary schools. During college application week, one Montana school application fee will be waived or deferred…meaning you can apply to one Montana school for FREE! 😊 We will also be offering FSA ID and FAFSA help this week. In addition, tomorrow Carroll College will be in the Career Center from 8:30-10:30 to help fill out applications!
