8602 Applied Skills Development

8602 Applied Skills Development       Grades: 9-12

This course is designed for students who need specifically designed instruction in the areas of behavior, study skills, organization, social/emotional checkins, and life skills. Students will work on developing patterns of positive and healthy behavior in the areas of interacting with students and staff, and making appropriate, safe, and productive choices in class and in the school environment. Students will also work on creating organizational and schedule routines to better adjust to high school demands and the skills needed to transition into adulthood.

Prerequisites: IEP goals, IEP team placement
