EXPECTATION OF THE WEEK:

Be a Graduate by exploring post high school options

Please join the Queer Straight Alliance this Friday April 12th for the Day of Silence. The Day of Silence is a national youth movement protesting the silence faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their allies. We believe that ending the silence is the first step toward fighting these injustices; think about the voices you are not hearing today. QSA will be providing participating students with a rainbow ribbon and a slip of paper explaining the event.

Are you interested in representing Capital High on the Helena District School Board as a student representative?  Students are eligible to serve a one-year term during their junior or senior year.  If interested, you can pick up an application starting today in the career center.  Applications are due to Barb Ridgway at the May Butler Center by April 26th.  Interviews are scheduled to take place the week of May 6th.

Intramurals will begin Monday April 15th.   The schedule will be posted this week in the Foyer.

On Monday, April 15 at 7:00 PM National Honor Society will be holding its annual Induction ceremony.  We will graduate our seniors and welcome our incoming juniors.  You are welcome to attend.

There will be a Bruins volleyball meeting on April 17th at lunch in G1 (health room) regarding summer information.
