EXPECTATION OF THE WEEK:

Be a Graduate by making sure you earn 23 credits while at CHS

If you would like to participate in a basketball activity during the Pep Assembly on February 6th, put your name in at the office for a chance of being chosen! Names will be chosen from each grade level at the pep assembly. We need students from all classes, so please stop by the office now through February 1st. There is a chance to win prizes, including prom tickets for upperclassmen!

Winter Formal tickets go on sale TODAY and will be sold through January 30th. Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door, so go to the foyer during lunch and make sure you are buying your ticket ahead of time. Tickets are one for $20 or two from $35.

Young people are making an impact on democracy in a way that has never been seen before. Join Youth in Government and see where you fit in. Run for governor, be a senator, lawyer, representative, judge, or reporter. At the same time, you will make great friends across the state and learn about democracy. Come to the Youth in Government meeting Tuesday, January 22 and find out what it is all about.

There will be a girl’s cross-country meeting on Wednesday at lunch in the Career Center. All team members and those who are interested in joining cross country are invited for pizza and to meet the new head coach.

The yearbook is submitting our final copy count to the publisher this week!!! This means if you HAVEN’T purchased a yearbook yet and you want to, then you need to either submit a down payment or a payment in full by Thursday.

  1. Purchase by THURSDAY the 24th for $80. If you purchase on or after January 25th the cost goes up to $85 as we are guessing how many books we need and we usually only buy 50 above whatever is ordered by the 24th.
  2. You Purchase online at yearbookforever.com or in person with Mrs. Selch in room 216 or Mrs. Dioso the book keeper

Tennis meeting! There will be an important meeting for all those interested in playing tennis on Thursday at lunch in Coach Swenson’s room.
