EXPECTATION OF THE WEEK: Be Respectful by honoring public and private property

Fantasy Club meets Thursdays at Noon in the Career Center. Anyone interested in games, books, movies, etc…within the fantasy genre are welcome!

There is an important girl’s track meeting on Wednesday, February 14th at noon in the Wrestling Room.  Please be prompt!

Softball open gyms are Wednesdays at 5-7 pm and Saturday mornings 8-10 am in the CHS gym area. Any girls interested in trying out for softball are encouraged to attend. Tryouts are the week of March 12th and a current physical is required to be on file with the school to tryout.

Deliveries for Valentine’s Day will be taken to the Library Conference Room.  During 4TH and 6th periods, a list of student’s names will be given to teachers to read to their classes.  If your name is on the list, you will need to go to the Library Conference Room during lunch hour or after school to pick up your items. You must take your items with you if you go to the conference room during the lunch hour.  Only students whose names appear on the lists should go to the conference room.  You must bring your CHS student ID card with you to claim your flowers.  If you do not have an ID card, come to the office before going to the conference room and you will be given a pick-up slip.  Thank you for your help!

NP Club wants to invite you all to a free lunch concert in the gym on Valentine’s Day!  We will have a photo frame with free pictures, a Hershey’s Kiss Booth and the band Hummingbird Cadillac featuring Nik Jemmings!

FCCLA will be having a Bake Sale in the main foyer at lunch on Thurs and Friday. We will feature puppy chow, cupcakes and cake balls. Come and get a sweet treat!

A representative from the Marine Corp will be in the Career Center on Wednesday at 10 am. Also, Miss Troianos will be hosting a Scholarship Workshop on Wednesday in the Career Center at 1:30 with Marti Johnson from Reach Higher. Seniors! Take advantage of this time to ask questions and work on scholarships with one on one guidance. See Miss Troianos for passes to come to any of these activities.

QSA will be holding a Bake Sale in the library foyer Tuesday through Thursday this Valentine’s week. We will feature homemade treats, baked goods, and items from the Vanilla Bean Bakery. We will also be selling raffle tickets at 25 cents a piece for handmade scarves. Come get your goodies!
