When: Mondays 3:00pm to 5:00pm
Tuesdays-Fridays 3:30pm to 5:30pm
Where: Room 6 in the basement and Computer Lab B in the basement of CHS.
What: CHS Speech and Debate is open to all students. Speech and Debate will help each student become their best self advocate, learn to work in a team environment, and grow in their speaking and debating skills. Each event requires hard work, preparation, and a determination to achieve individual goals. We compete at two day, overnight tournaments in Kalispell, Billings, Great Falls, Bozeman, etc as well as hosting The Annual Dusty Roads Speech Competition in December in coordination with Carroll College who hosts their Annual Debate Tournament. Are you curious? Want to come have snacks after school and make friends? Need a bit of help with your homework? Like to argue? Love performing with a partner? Come check us out after school, room 6 in the basement of CHS! Our official tournament season runs from October 1 to March 1.

Come volunteer to judge our future political leaders at the Dusty Roads Invitational Speech Tournament! Capital and Helena High will host this Speech Tournament on Friday, December 2nd and Saturday, December 3rd. We will be hosting speech events only including Legi. All rounds will be held at Capital High School.
