CHS Bruin Booster Club

THE CAPITAL HIGH SCHOOL

BRUIN BOOSTER CLUB NEEDS YOU!!!!

Dear Booster:

The Booster Club is a group of parents, faculty and volunteers dedicated to strengthening student excellence at Capital High and our level of support depends upon Bruin Boosters like you.  The Club works in conjunction with school educators, staff, and parents to promote school spirit, athletics, academics, and enhance the educational experience.  The Capital High Booster Club is a registered not-for-profit organization* that supports all students by providing financial assistance for extra-curricular activities as well as enhancements to school facilities. Requests for uniforms, recognition dinners, travel, and special projects for the school, frequently exceed our ability to assist.

The Booster Club and the students at Capital High School thank you for your support!

Below are a few examples of the activities supported in recent years:

CHS Booster Club thanks donors

The Capital High Booster Club appreciates all of the 2015-16 donors. Thanks to your continued generosity, we are able to work with school educators, staff, and parents to promote school spirit, athletics and academics to enhance the overall educational experience.

Our latest project under consideration, a school gymnasium divider curtain, will be voted on at the March 15, 2016 meeting. The curtain would be hung from the ceiling above the south side upper deck and would allow that area to be used simultaneously when the remaining gym space is also in use. The overall goal is to help increase the opportunity students have to use the gym for various activities.

It is recommended that Booster Members attend the March meeting to learn more about this project, and as well as other club activities. The Booster Club is a group of parents, faculty and volunteers dedicated to strengthening student excellence at CHS. The Booster Club meets at 6:30 p.m. every third Tuesday of each month at the school Library Conference Room.
